One of the major problems in the Philippines and in our community is flood, which is caused by heavy rains due to improper garbage disposal that can result to heavy traffic, which is also a major problem in the Philippines. Flood is also caused by illegal logging and cutting down of trees without replacement and with more population growth with less drainage. Flood can affect our daily activities and can also delay many business trips that can affect many people. It can also destroy farm crops and productions from dairy products. During floods, roads, bridges, farms, houses and automobiles are destroyed. People become homeless. additionally, the government deploys firemen, policemen, and other emergency apparatuses to help the affected. all these come at a heavy cause to people and the government. It usually takes years for affected communities to be rebuilt and business to come back to normality. In my own advocacy, I wish to inform the government through internet and media regarding these problems and encourage the people to be more responsible in order for our community to become clean and also so that our environmental problems will be reduced.
